The Dublin MoRun will take place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday 24th November 2018 and the following road restrictions will be in place:
Roads to be Closed:
Phoenix Monument to Mountjoy Cross 7.30am – 12.30pm
Ordnance Survey Road 9.00am to 12.00pm
Glen/Upper Glen Road 9.00am to 12.00pm
Gates to be closed:
Ashtown Gate – No right turn except for access to Farmleigh House
Chapelizod Gate – No left turn except for access to Cara Cheshire Home
Knockmaroon Gate – Closed until 1.00pm
The next meeting of the Navan Road Community Council will take place tonight Wednesday 7th November 2018 at 8pm in the Parish Centre (behind the Church on the Navan Road). Anyone with local problems is very welcome to attend. We will do our best to help in whatever way we can.
We are always looking for new members. So if you feel that you could give approximately and hour and a half of your time for nine meetings a year please come along and join us.
Also next meeting of the Garda Retired Active People Group takes place tomorrow Thursday 8th November at 11am in Cummiskeys Pub Blackhorse Avenue. Please attend promptly as there will be an outside speaker attending.
The Remembrance 5K run takes place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 11th November 2018.
Road Closures: –
Chesterfield Avenue (Mountjoy to Phoenix) will be closed from 10.00pm on Saturday 10th November to 2.00pm Sunday 11th November.
Ordnance Survey/Glen/Upper Glen & Furry Glen Roads will be closed from 10.00am to 2.00pm
Gate Closures: –
Chapelizod Gate closed from 10.00am to 2.00pm (No left turn on entry except to access Cara Cheshire Home)
Knockmaroon/Ashtown Gates closed from 10.00am to 2.00pm
Castleknock Gate closed from 10.45am to 11.30am
NRCC would like to thank Dublin City Council for providing several bike stands at Ashtown Grove.
We have been pushing for these for some time now and are delighted that DCC have finally provided them.
We will continue to pursue bike stands for the Kinvara Avenue end of our area.
