Public Meeting – 7th October

The next monthly Community Council public meeting will take place this coming Wednesday at 8pm in the Navan Road parish centre. This is our first meeting after the summer break as our September one was cancelled due to refurbishment of the centre. There will be lots to discuss. Some items we intend to table include…

  • Proposed roadworks on Blackhorse Avenue and tree cutting at Poor Man’s Well.
  • Planning permission for 318 new houses in Rathborne.
  • Planning permission for nursing home in Scribblestown.
  • Proposed Dublin City Development plan

We hope to see you there. Outside of the monthly meeting we can be contacted through this website or telephone 089-2010724.

Navan Road Community Council

Navan Road Community Council was set up in 1968 to help bring together community groups and sporting groups, so that they would have one voice when trying to get things done in the community. These days the NRCC lobbies Dublin City Council and local representatives in relation to issues such as traffic, planning and policing to name a few.
