Road & Gate Closures Phoenix Park 23/2/2019

 

The Operation Transformation 5K Fun Run will be held in the Phoenix Park on Saturday 23rd February 2019.

Please note the following road and gate closures:

 

Closed to vehicular traffic:

Chesterfield Avenue ( Phoenix to Mountjoy).  5am to 1pm

Ordnance Survey Road                                        8.30am to 1pm

Glen/Upper Glen Road                                         8.30am to 1pm

Furry Glen                                                              8.30am to 1pm

 

Gate closures:

Knockmaroon Gate                                              Closed until 1pm

Castleknock Gate                                                   9.15am to 1pm

Chapelizod Gate                                                     8.30am to 1pm

Ashtown Gate                                                         8.30am to 1pm

Navan Road Community Council was set up in 1968 to help bring together community groups and sporting groups, so that they would have one voice when trying to get things done in the community. These days the NRCC lobbies Dublin City Council and local representatives in relation to issues such as traffic, planning and policing to name a few.
