Bus Connects Routes – Final Chance to Comment

Please see the Navan Road Community Council submission here Dublin Area Bus Network Redesign 2

This is the final opportunity to send your observations/submissions on the proposed changes to Dublin Bus Routes serving the Navan Road area, particularly the No. 122.  The 122 will change from a 10 minute service at peak times, travelling to the southside of the city and accessing the main entrance to the Mater Hospital and Crumlin Childrens Hopital, and will become the No. 97, an hourly service to Parnell Square only.  The 70 Bus from Dunboyne has been downgraded to 2 buses at peak time and will probably be full by the time it reaches the Navan Road.

The deadline is Tuesday the 10th December 2019, by email to consultations@busconnects.ie or in writing to Dublin Area Bus Network Redesign, National Transport Authority, Dún Scéine, Harcourt Lane, Dublin 2 D02 WT20.

Full details are on the BusConnects brochure dropped into every house over the last few  weeks and on www.busconnects.ie.

The revised infrastructure part of the project (gardens, roads etc) will be published in early 2020.

Navan Road Community Council

Navan Road Community Council was set up in 1968 to help bring together community groups and sporting groups, so that they would have one voice when trying to get things done in the community. These days the NRCC lobbies Dublin City Council and local representatives in relation to issues such as traffic, planning and policing to name a few.
