Cabra Farm

Cabra Farm (at the corner of Nephin Road and Navan Road), has been the subject of planning permission for a nursing home for the last few years. Apart from a large hole in the ground it has been left untouched and has been on and off the Derelict Sites Register. It looks as if work is due to start there in the next while.

The developers Building Control are in the process of lodging with DCC a 7 Day notice for commencement on 22nd August, it has not been lodged as yet . It is in order for them to move in equipment in meantime, and begin cleaning up site, however they cannot commence any foundation work until the 7 Day notice is signed by all necessary and passed by DCC.

Navan Road Community Council

Navan Road Community Council was set up in 1968 to help bring together community groups and sporting groups, so that they would have one voice when trying to get things done in the community. These days the NRCC lobbies Dublin City Council and local representatives in relation to issues such as traffic, planning and policing to name a few.
