BusConnects Core Bus Corridor 5 – Sample Residents Submission Letter

Navan Road residents are probably aware that there is a proposal by the National Transport Authority (NTA) to upgrade the Bus Infrastructure in Dublin City and County. This is called the Core Bus Corridor Project and there are 16 route proposals.  The one that concerns this area is the Blanchardstown to City Centre Core Bus Corridor 5 Project.

The Navan Road Community Council (NRCC)supports proposals that improve bus routes, infrastructure and better cycling and pedestrian facilities.

We are very concerned that the current proposal will destroy the quality of life of our area.  While the proposal affects some Navan Road residents more directly, it will have implications for everyone.  Therefore, we are appealing to all residents to send in their own submission.

We are attaching a letter indicating some of the points that you may wish to raise in your submission.   However, if you wish, please use this letter which should be signed, addressed and dated.

Remember to submit your letter or email before the 29thMarch 2019 deadline to:

Navan Road Community Council was set up in 1968 to help bring together community groups and sporting groups, so that they would have one voice when trying to get things done in the community. These days the NRCC lobbies Dublin City Council and local representatives in relation to issues such as traffic, planning and policing to name a few.
